After months of testing, Instagram has officially launched Trial Reels, a new feature for creators.

Instagram has added new ways for creators to interact with fans through Broadcast Channels. Updates include:

Threads is rolling out an updated design for both iOS and Android. The update keeps the different feeds — For You, Following, and any custom feeds — visible on the home screen, making it easy for users to swipe between them.

The Instagram for Business website is being phased out, as noted in a notification on the site.

Instagram has started testing a new iteration of its Suggested Reels feature that appears between posts in the feed. Instead of the typical carousel of recommended Reels, it now displays them in a 2x2 grid format.

Instagram has launched a Collage feature for Stories, discovered by Matt Navarra. Available via the tray in Stories, users can select multiple photos and share them in a single Story as a Collage.

Threads is rolling out another update. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that the platform is currently testing a feature allowing users to choose their own default feed—from For You, Following, or a Custom Feed.

Threads now supports landscape videos on iOS devices.
