LinkedIn Introduces Exportable Single Post Analytics
LinkedIn has added the ability for creators to export single post analytics for various types of content, such as short-form posts, images, videos, events, polls, and articles.
When creators click 'View Analytics' at the bottom left-hand corner of their individual posts, it will take them to the post analytics for that single post—where they can see all their analytics in one place.
At the very top right, they will also notice the option to 'Export' their post analytics data to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Depending on the specific type of post, exported analytics will include impressions, engagements (reactions, comments, reposts), article views, views, top demographics of unique viewers, and more.
Why it Matters: Analytics enable creators to understand the performance of their content, including what type of content generates actions that align best with a creator's goals and objectives. This data empowers creators to make informed decisions about their content strategy. Additionally, the ability to export this data allows creators to conduct in-depth analysis by slicing and dicing the data in different ways.
This also enables creators to easily share post analytics for sponsored content on behalf of a brand. In the future, LinkedIn could enhance this feature by allowing creators to grant access to their post analytics, which would streamline the process of sharing this valuable information with brand partners.
