LinkedIn Now Lets Users Copy & Share Links to Specific Comments

LinkedIn has added the ability to copy and share a link to a comment left on a post. Now, when you tap the three dots at the top right of a comment, there is a ‘Copy link to comment’ option.

Once copied, users will receive a notification that the link has been added to their clipboard and a ‘View Comment’ option. When clicked or when the link is shared elsewhere, it will take users directly to the comment, which will be temporarily highlighted in blue.

Why It Matters: This added capacity allows users to share and access comments directly. It's useful in scenarios where users want to share insightful comments with others or save the link to respond later.

Comments play a significant role in the social media experience and have evolved into a content format. As a result, platforms are adding more comment-related features, such as Instagram, which allows creators to share comments to Stories.

As comments on LinkedIn can be a way for users not only to connect, but increase their visibility, LinkedIn should continue to expand on the capabilities of comments for creators and everyday users.
