LinkedIn Adds 'Try Searching for' Suggestions to Drive Users to Curated News Stories

LinkedIn added a "Try Searching For" section in the search bar. When users open the search bar, they’ll see pre-populated suggestions related to stories curated by LinkedIn Editors. Tapping on these suggestions takes users to search results featuring the LinkedIn News story graphic, a link to the specific LinkedIn News article, and relevant posts below.

Why It Matters: By incorporating pre-populated suggestions tied to current stories, LinkedIn makes it easier for users to discover and engage with timely content. This also introduces a new entry point for accessing top stories curated by LinkedIn News, which has become a growing focus.

Recently, LinkedIn launched a News Banner and rolled out labels for rapidly developing stories, making them more prominent and encouraging users to share their insights.
