YouTube Introduces New Audience Overlap Card in YouTube Analytics

YouTube Audience Overlap

YouTube has introduced a new Audience Overlap card in YouTube Analytics. This card allows creators to see the viewer overlap in their audience across long-form videos, Shorts, and Live. Creators can determine if and how many returning viewers watch more than one of these formats and how large the overlap is.

This feature is especially useful for creators testing a new format and wanting to understand the viewer overlap between formats. By accessing this data, creators can determine the level of interest their audiences have in one, the other, or both formats. As more creators become multi-format, analytics that helps them evaluate the value of the different formats become increasingly important for them to leverage the formats and determine the best strategies to meet their goals.
