X Previews New Sorted Posts on Profiles, Timestamp Tagging for Videos, and Video Download Features
X, formerly known as Twitter, has previewed a few new features. The first is the ability to sort posts on profiles by categories such as "Most Recent," "Most Liked," and "Most Engaged." The second is timestamp tagging for videos, which allows users to add timestamps to videos so viewers can jump right into specific segments of video clips. Finally, users will be able to long-press on a video and have the option to download it.
These features are part of X's mission to become a "super app" that offers a wide range of features and services. Some of these features are small updates that create a better user experience, while others will help make a more significant impact. The new sorting feature can help users find the content they are looking for more easily, while the timestamp tagging feature can be useful for creators who want to highlight specific moments in their videos. For example, a podcaster may want to timestamp specific topics discussed in a full-length podcast episode upload.
X has previewed a number of other features, including a Media tab, but the majority of these have yet to be released. It is likely that it will be a while before any of these features are officially rolled out.
