VSCO Is Launching VSCO Sites, A Way for Creators to Create Portfolio Websites

VSCO / VSCO Sites

VSCO is launching VSCO Sites, a new feature that allows creators with a Pro Membership to create a portfolio website bysing existing content from their VSCO profile, such as Galleries and Blogs.

Creators can generate their site by navigating to their profile on the website and selecting the "Build Site" option. They will be prompted to confirm their profile information, name, and email to be displayed on their VSCO site. The site is then auto-generated, and creators can either publish it for others to view or customize it further.

Customization options include making changes to the About Page, updating the default selections on the Selects, Galleries, and Blog Pages. VSCO will automatically generate some of the most recent content for each section as default, but creators can add, delete, or modify any of the selections.

Once the site is ready, creators can publish it by choosing a unique subdomain of 30-60 characters.

Why It Matters: VSCO Sites is the culmination of several new features VSCO has introduced this year, including enhanced profiles, Galleries, and most recently, Blogs. These additions are part of VSCO’s ongoing efforts to support professional photographers and expand its premium subscription offering.

VSCO Sites provides creators with a simple, low-maintenance, and cost-effective way to showcase work through a portfolio website. While it doesn’t offer the full customization of a traditional website builder, it appeals to creators looking for an easy, affordable solution while leveraging VSCO’s growing list of features.
