Facebook launches Bulletin, a newsletter platform dedicated to helping independent journalists and writers grow and monetize their newsletter audience.

Google is currently piloting a new service called Bulletin that will crowdsource local news and shed light on stories that aren't covered by large or regional newspapers and networks.
