Pinterest Is Testing A Board Preview Feature

Pinterest / Board Preview

Pinterest is testing a new Board Preview feature. This feature lets users share Pinterest Boards as videos across other social media platforms. The video will feature a watermark with the name of the Pinterest Board and the curator's handle.

The test is part of the platform’s partnership with Coachella, where it will appear for the first time to connect with Gen Z, its fastest-growing demographic. As part of the partnership, it's teaming up with celebrity style sisters Chloe and Chennel on a Coachella-inspired Board Drop, which they will share via the Board Preview.

Why It Matters: Board Preview provides a simple and easy way for users to share Pinterest Boards in a visually more engaging way. This can help creators expand the reach of this type of content by sharing it with their audiences outside of Pinterest, with the potential for viewers to visit the creators' Pinterest account to explore more of their content.

Pinterest recently launched another visual-oriented feature in Collages, which enables users to save objects from Pins as cutouts and combine them to create an interactive collage.
