LinkedIn Tests 'Draft With AI' Writing Tool to Help Users Create and Share Posts

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is currently testing an AI-powered writing tool called Draft With AI. This tool can be accessed within the Share box. To use it, users need to write at least 30 words for a post. The tool then generates a first draft using generative AI, which can be edited and adjusted to match the user's own voice.

Draft With AI helps to make it easier for people to share their thoughts and perspectives with the LinkedIn community. However, an influx of AI-generated content could potentially lower the overall quality of content on the platform instead of enhancing it. While it is valuable for individuals who struggle with writing on LinkedIn, it's important to remember that relying solely on these tools may diminish the human touch. Users should strive to include their unique perspectives to add a personal touch. This is particularly significant as LinkedIn has adjusted its algorithm to prioritize content with professional insights, inspiration, and ideas.

With Draft With AI, LinkedIn expands its range of AI-related features. These include personalized writing suggestions for profiles, Collaborative Articles, AI-generated job descriptions, and AI-assisted recruiting messages. LinkedIn is prepping a visual AI feature that is expected to launch soon for testing.
