LinkedIn Expands Analytics & Tools Feature to Include New Post Generator Features
LinkedIn has recently expanded its Analytics & Tools feature by introducing two new sections: "Ideas for your next post" and "Conversations happening now." These sections aim to provide creators with helpful resources to improve their content creation and engagement on the platform.
"Ideas for your next post" offers customized suggestions and prompts based on the top skills listed on a creator's profile. For example, if a creator's profile highlights expertise in digital marketing and social media, they may receive prompts like "How do you measure the ROI of your digital campaigns?" or "What are some good tools for measuring social media engagement?" By clicking on a pencil icon, creators can generate the prompt in the post composer and start writing a post based on the suggestion.
In the "Conversations happening now" section, creators can find a selection of posts that are relevant to their interests and audience. These posts are chosen based on the content creators have previously shared and topics that their followers might find interesting. Creators can click on these posts to read and review them in more detail, and they also have the option to share them with their own network using the Repost button. Currently, this feature is only available to LinkedIn members who have set their language preference to English.
These new features are designed to assist creators in discovering engaging topics and connecting with their audience more effectively. By providing tailored prompts and highlighting relevant posts, LinkedIn aims to make content creation on the platform easier and more efficient, which can encourage more creators to share with their networks. This is good news for LinkedIn, which continues to see record-level engagement.
These, along with other updates such as Collaborative Articles and generative AI prompts, highlight a focus by LinkedIn on facilitating content discovery, promoting valuable conversations, and fostering engagement within its creator community.
