Flipboard has introduced the ability for users to follow anyone in the fediverse.

Mastodon, an X alternative, has added an author byline feature. Some links shared on the platform will include a clickable author byline that links to the author’s associated fediverse account, which could also be Threads, Flipboard, or other decentralized platforms. Initial websites that will implement this are The Verge, MacStories, and MacRumors, but news organizations can request access.

Flipboard announced the expansion of its fediverse integration to 400 creators (including myself) and over 11,000 curated magazines.
