TikTok and GSTV Partner To Bring TikTok Videos To Gas Station Screens
TikTok is partnering with GSTV, a national video network for fuel providers, to bring TikTok videos to thousands of gas station screens across the US. GSTV's creative studio, Ignite, will curate customized weekly TikTok segments. Each segment will be 20 seconds long, featuring one or multiple videos, and will run alongside GSTV's other short-form video content from creators. They will also include QR codes linking to the TikTok app and a #ISawItOnGSTV hashtag.
The partnership between TikTok and GSTV provides a new touchpoint for TikTok to reach consumers on the go, whether they're commuting, running errands, or on road trips. With GSTV's 116 million monthly viewership, TikTok can expand its presence beyond mobile devices, bringing more of its creators and content to new and current audiences through unique experiences. By adding a QR code and hashtag, viewers are encouraged to continue consuming TikTok content on the app and share the content they see on gas station screens with others. GSTV benefits by incorporating engaging content alongside its other creator programming, appealing to advertiser partners.
This builds on TikTok's recent deals with ReachTV and ScreenVision to showcase its content in airports and movie theaters. TikTok's ambitions to be consumed anywhere and everywhere are becoming a reality at an accelerating pace.
