LinkedIn Enhances 'Who Viewed Your Profile' Feature to Provide More Context for 'Influencer on LinkedIn' Profile Visitors

LinkedIn recently expanded the listings for its 'Who Viewed Your Profile' feature, which displays recent profile visitors. When filtered by 'Interesting Viewers,' the platform highlights specific types of visitors, including 'Influencers on LinkedIn' — an update initially discovered by Matt Navarra.

Previously, there wasn’t a specific designation for the viewers that showed up under 'Influencer on LinkedIn.' However, this week, when I visited my profile visitors with this filtering option, these visitors now have a designation such as ‘Top Voice’ or ‘senior leader.’

Why It Matters: When users filter by 'Influencer on LinkedIn,' they know that these visitors are ‘Top Voices,’ those whom LinkedIn has vetted and identified as sharing quality content and being experts in their industry or senior leaders in another industry.

With this more defined criteria for what appears under this filter, users can better understand the types of people visiting their profile, specifically thought leaders and experts. Creators could also use this information in their pitches to brands looking to partner with people to get in front of ‘Top Voices’ or ‘senior leaders,’ who could further help spread the word about their products or services or could be prospects themselves.
