Instagram's New 'Layout' Feature Allows You Capture & Share Multiple Photos
Instagram adds yet another new feature for Instagram Stories. Earlier this week, the Facebook-owned company announced the launch of Layout, which allows you to capture and share multiple photos within one Story frame. The news came via Twitter, with it positioning the feature as “a new, creative way to express yourself.”
Strike a pose. And another pose. And then another. 📸

With Layout, you can now capture and share multiple photos in your story — a new, creative way to express yourself. Check it out! pic.twitter.com/j02aYOjsoO
Layout can be accessed by simply opening up the Stories camera and then scrolling to ‘Layout.’ From there, you’ll have the ability to select from six different templates and combine as many as six photos. Once you’ve selected the template and added your desired photos, you would publish the Story as you normally do.
Before the arrival of Layout, you needed to use a third-party app like Unfold or a hack to share multiple photos as one Story, however that is no longer required. As I mentioned previously, many of the recent Instagram Stories features that have launched haven’t been needle-pushing yet they continue to encourage users to stay on the app and share even more content.
Instagram Stories continues to be an important part of the Instagram experience so it’s only a matter of time before another new feature rolls out.
