Less than a month after launching the Checkout feature, Instagram is giving influencers the ability to sell to users in-app with a new feature called Shopping From Creators.

Announced during Facebook’s annual F8 conference, the feature allows influencers including public figures, creators, athletes, publishers, and artists to tag products in their posts, which then take users to checkout when clicked on. Starting May 8th, Kim Kardashian West, Gigi Hadid, Kylie Jenner, and Khloe Kardashian, Nikita Dragun, and others will have access to the feature and be able to tag products from brands such as Adidas, Dior, H&M, Nike, Michael Kors, and Zara in their posts. Both influencers and brands will be able to view insights related to the post such as engagement, reach, product views, and clicks, which will help them assess the performance of it.

“No matter when people are inspired, we are committed to making the shopping experience simple, convenient and secure. This is yet another important step in our shopping journey and we'll continue to listen to feedback from our community on how we can make the experience even better,” the company announced in a blog post.

Shopping From Creators is another big move for Instagram as it continues to strengthen its shopping experience.

In other Instagram news, Facebook recently released a new Instagram Creators Guide featuring tips on how users can make the most of the platform.
