A few days ago, Google launched a new travel guide website through its in-house start-up incubator Area 120. The website is called Touring Bird and it serves as a "one-stop-shop for travelers looking to find a range of experiences in a destination."

The website lists tours, attractions, and activities for travelers in popular travel destinations. Currently, it provides information for 20 destinations including Barcelona, Boston, Las Vegas, London, Paris, and Toronto, but plans to expand the coverage to more cities in the near future.

When you select a destination city, you will see a number of things to do sorted by categories such as Top Sites, Tours & Activities, Local Tips, Free Tours, and more. You can also use search filters, which allow you to filter activities by price, time of day, duration, mobile vouchers accepted, and even cancellation policy. Additionally, you will find helpful tips and advice such as the best times to visit a particular attraction. When you’re ready to book a tour, attraction or activity, clicking on it will take you directly to the provider’s website, where you can complete the booking process.

Touring Bird is currently available on desktop and mobile devices, however only in English. To learn more about the website and to use it for your next trip, visit here.

In other Google news, it recently revamped its Google Maps app to make it a more personalized experience.
