eBay recently announced a new feature called Interests that will make the shopping experience more personalized for users. By asking them questions about their passions, hobbies, styles and combining it with shopping data from its 171 million active users, the feature provides users with a curated digital store that showcases items that are most relevant and interesting to them. The more purchases they make, the better the feature is with presenting items that they would like.

"Our shopping experience should be as individual as each shopper on eBay," said Bradford Shellhammer, Head of Browse & Personalization for eBay in a press release. "By asking people to tell us a little bit about their interests, we're delivering a personalized store built around the things you care about most."  '

Interests is now available for U.S. residents in the eBay app for both iOS and Android devices. It will be rolled out to other countries and be available for desktop in the near future.
