Listen to Metro Boomin's "No Complaints" featuring Drake and Offset
Metro Boomin is releasing a new album in Boominati via Metro Boomin Want Some More/ Republic Records in the near future. Last night (June 24th), he premiered the album's first single "No Complaints" on OVO Sound Radio via Beats 1 Radio. Featuring Drake and Offset of Migos, its a slow burning eerie banger that is a good representation of the super producer's sound.
Offset sets the tone and shows up with a quality opening verse and suitable hook. His effort continues his streak of strong performances since the latter end of 2016 that include Billboards top charter "Bad and Boujee" and Gucci Mane's "Met Gala." Those tracks also feature him on the first verse and the hook, making it a non-brainer for Metro to have him do the same here on "No Complaints."
Following the hook, Drake comes in with a verse that has a similar cadence to his verse on Gucci's "Both." It's not his best work lyrically, which is fine because this isn't that type of song. However, he does deliver several quotables ("At 17, I wanted everything that was in store, at 23, I bought it all just to make sure"), making his contribution a game changer as usual.
Drake fans should be very happy this weekend. This along with "Signs" and a remix of PARTYNEXTDOOR's "Freak In You" were all released Friday night.
Listen to "No Complaints" below and stay tuned for more releases off Boominati. For more from Metro, listen to DropTopWop, his collaborative album with Atlanta legend Gucci Mane.
