Yo Gotti releases 'Gotti Made It' album, produced by Mike Will Made It
I’m always excited when Yo Gotti puts out new music. Thankfully, the Memphis rapper is very consistent with releasing material.
Today (June 2nd), he liberates a new project titled Gotti Made It, produced entirely by Mike Will Made It. Featuring nine hard-hitting tracks, the Roc Nation signee rides solo with the exception of Nicki Minaj appearing on standout “Rake It Up,” which likely will receive plenty of play in the clubs. Other standout tracks are “Legacy" and "Letter 2 The Trap.”
From listening to Gotti for a decade or so, one thing that I’ve noticed about his projects is that that they always have a high quality opening track and this continues to be the case with “Legacy.”
With the help of Mike Will’s haunting backing, Gotti sets the tone for the overall project, delivering lyrics about his desire to build a legacy, in the streets and in the studio. Throughout the track, he boasts about some of the things he’s done and name drops rappers like Kodak Black. If you like high energy, raw, and aggressive street music, this is the track for you.
Gotti Made It is the latest in what has and will continue be a busy year for him. He recently released the well-receive CM9 and inked a deal with Roc Nation. Later this summer, he’ll hit the road for the Against All Odds Tour alongside Meek Mill.
