Under Armour launches new 'We Will' campaign focused on how "sports can change the world"
In the wake of the tragic events of Hurricane Harvey, Under Armour launches its We Will campaign. The new campaign debuted this past Thursday (August 31st) during the college football kick off game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Indiana Hoosiers.
Following up its traditional I Will advertisement, UA delievers a 60 second commerical spot that features appearances by Cam Newton, Steph Curry, Bryce Harper, Julio Jones, Lindsay Vonn, Aaron Judge, and other big faces of the brand. With the new advertisement, the Baltimore-based company focuses on how sports can "unite, inspire and change the world."
The campaign was in the works well before Hurricane Harvey, however the company felt that it was an appropriate time to launch it. Also, part of the We Will campaign is a partnership with Team Rubicon, a first responder organization who is sending former service people to help communities affected by Hurricane Harvey. Its efforts are focused on securing the safety of all those affected, stabilizing the community and getting residents back home, and returning kids to school and sports.
Watch the commercial below and head over to UA for more information on the campaign. You can also share how sports has inspired you by sharing your story with the #WeWill hashtag on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
