Triller Launches 'Save My TikToks' to Help Creators Backup and Transfer TikTok Content Ahead of Possible Ban
Triller, once a main competitor to TikTok, has launched a new site called Save My TikToks to help creators save and transfer their TikTok content to Triller.
Available at Savemytiktoks.com, creators connect their TikTok account, and easily download their videos. They’ll be notified via email once the content has been saved. They then will need to sign up for a Triller account or login in their account. The feature is powered by Amplify.ai, a company Triller acquired in 2021.
Why It Matters: With a potential TikTok ban on the horizon, creators are looking for ways to secure their content and prepare for what's next. Triller is seizing the opportunity to offer a backup solution while encouraging creators to try out their platform. While not every creator may see Triller as a permanent home, the current situation could drive some short-term user growth.
Triller is also set to launch a revamped platform in Q1 this year, which could appeal to creators looking for a fresh alternative to Instagram, YouTube, and other mainstream platforms.
