According to screenshots shared by social media commentator Matt Navarra, TikTok is testing a new music tab on select verified artist profiles for artists such as Justin Bieber.

The test adds a third tab with a music icon to artist profiles. When users tap on the tab, a list of all of the artists’ songs that are available on the app appears. Users then can tap through any of the songs and use them in their videos by tapping ‘Use This Sound.’
With music discovery being a pivotal part of the TikTok experience, a feature like this makes a lot of sense. The tab makes it convenient for users to find music from their favorite artists on the app and select it for use in their videos. The feature is also beneficial for artists as the tab highlights all of their music on the app, making it more likely that their music will be featured in users and ultimately result in them gaining more exposure.
Back in November, the Byte-Danced owned platform started testing link in bios and social commerce links in videos, however, they have yet to be officially rolled out.
2020 is looking to be a big year for TikTok so stay tuned. I’d expect the platform to release several new features throughout the course of the year.
