Pinterest's Shuffles App Announces New Shopping Feature in Shuffles Fashion and Beauty Drawer
Shuffles, Pinterest's standalone collage maker app, announced a new feature in Shuffles fashion and beauty drawer.
Creators first browse catalogs from their favorite brands, where they can discover a multitude of fashion cutouts, including trendy apparel, stylish accessories, and top beauty products. They then combine their favorite cutouts to create unique and personalized fashion collages. They can tap on each item in their collage to get more details about the item and the ability to click through to purchase the item on the retailer's website.
In addition, Shuffles also rolled out the ability for creators to reorder the Shuffles on their profile, meaning that they can change the order in which their Public Shuffles appear on their profile.
Why it Matters: Collage maker apps like Shuffles have become favorites of Gen Z, and Shuffles is no different. With the fashion and beauty drawer, Pinterest enables creators to take their inspiration and make it more actionable by adding shoppable components. By using cutouts from beauty products, creators and their fans can easily move from discovery to inspiration to purchasing.
Shuffles has only been around for a little over a year, but it has been an important part of Pinterest's growth among Gen Z, which has been its fastest-growing demographic for multiple quarters now. Pinterest recently announced Collages, a Shuffles-inspired feature that allows creators to create similar cutout creations directly on Pinterest, adding to Pinterest's mission to make everything on its app shoppable.
With the holiday season approaching, creators can leverage Shuffles and Collages to create interactive shoppable gift guides featuring their favorite brands and products.
