Notion Launches Q&A to Provide Users With Instant Answers Using Information From Their Notion Workspace
Notion has launched a new feature called Q&A for Notion AI, its suite of AI-powered tools. Q&A provides users with the ability to get answers to questions they ask using information across their Notion workspace, including documents, projects, and meeting notes. For example, they can ask questions related to their business, previous decisions, or meeting notes to get relevant answers.
Q&A is included in existing Notion AI subscriptions, available for only $10 per month. Notion AI users can get started with Q&A by joining the waitlist for early access here.
Why It Matters: Q&A functions like a second brain for Notion users, offering them the convenience of asking questions and receiving AI-generated answers with links to relevant Notion pages, allowing them to dive deeper when needed. This means users can instantly access answers to everyday how-to questions, and quick updates on the latest tasks, timelines, and priorities.
Many apps and platforms are rolling out AI assistants and chatbots, but Notion's iteration stands out as it allows people to tap into their own internal knowledge within Notion, unlike other similar features that are powered by AI models trained on publicly available information. Since the chatbot is powered by one's own data, the answers and insights are more personalized and relevant, making them more useful.
