This Saturday (September 2nd), the Michigan Wolverines and the Florida Gators will go head to head in one of the most anticipated college football games of the season. It's a can't miss game for anyone who enjoys spending their fall Saturdays on the couch watching tomorrow's NFL stars battle it on the gridiron.

Ahead of this weekend's big game, Nike has revealed that the two college powerhouses will be wearing new "Color Rush" uniforms when they take the field at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. These type of uniforms should be familiar to NFL fans. Last year, a majority of NFL teams wore the all color alternate uniforms at some point during the season. As for the college version of "Color Rush," Nike says these uniforms are "deeply saturated uniforms that express the heritage and future of each program.”

Michigan's Nike Jordan Brand "Color Rush" uniforms will mark the first time in school history that the football team will be decked out in all maize. It celebrates the University of Michigan Bicentennial and is in honor of the 150-year anniversary of the school's official colors, maize and blue. In addition, they will debut a University of Michigan edition of the Jordan Trainer 2.

On the other hand, Florida will rock a white helmet and all blue uniforms with all blue accessories that include gloves, socks, and wristbands.

This is the first time that the "Color Rush" uniforms will hit the college ranks. It likely won't be the last though.  It took a couple of years for Nike to completely roll out the uniforms in the NFL so expect them to follow a similar path.

You can catch the game between these two on Saturday at 3:30 PM on ABC.

In other uniform news, the UNC Tar Heels will debut their Jordan Brand uniforms this weekend when they take on the University of California Golden Bears.
