Linktree Unlocks New Monetization Opportunities for Creators: Courses, Digital Products Shops, Sponsored Links & Rewards
Linktree
Fresh off surpassing 70 million users, Linktree is rolling out several new features to help creators monetize:
Courses: Through a partnership with Kajabi, creators can now build and sell online courses directly from their Linktree.
Digital Products: Creators can sell digital products like eBooks, templates, or guides from their Linktree.
Shops: Linktree’s social commerce marketplace is now available to all U.S. users, offering products from over 150 brands and retailers.
Sponsored Links: U.S.-based creators can earn commission from clicks, purchases, or other actions users take on sponsored links added to their Linktree.
Rewards: Creators earn points and perks for completing actions like setting up payouts, connecting platforms, creating a paid course, or adding a sponsored link.

Why It Matters: Linktree is evolving from a simple “link in bio” tool into a full-fledged platform designed to help creators monetize more effectively.
With the addition of Kajabi-powered Courses and Digital Products, creators now have more control, enabling them to sell directly to their audience without relying on external platforms.
The expansion of Linktree Shops, along with the introduction of Sponsored Links and Rewards, meets the growing demand for performance-based partnerships. Sponsored Links, in particular, allow creators to monetize a behavior they already practice, linking to branded content and now a native way to directly earn from it.
Lifestyle creator Autym Sanson, an early tester of Linktree Shops, shared the impact:
“As an early adopter of Linktree Shops, I’ve been able to double my monthly earnings from showcasing my favorite beauty and fashion finds compared to other programs I've participated in – so much so that Linktree Shops has become my preferred place to curate my recommendations for my audience. My followers have told me they love the convenience of hitting one link to go straight to the product, and it’s been super easy to associate entire collections of products with the actual video they’re mentioned in!”
These updates offer creators flexibility, allowing them to generate revenue from both owned products and brand partnerships which is important as monetization strategies vary widely across creators.
As the link-in-bio space heats, companies like Linktree are pushing beyond their original model, creating new opportunities that better connect creators with their audience and brands.
