Lemon8 Rolls Out A New Generative AI Feature In Photo Studio

Lemon8

Lemon8 has rolled out a new generative AI feature called Photo Studio. This feature enables creators to instantly generate hundreds of AI-enhanced photos of themselves.

To utilize Photo Studio, creators begin by selecting up to six model images that showcase various 90s-inspired styles, such as Funky, Classy, Sporty, and Daily. Subsequently, they upload a photo of themselves and can press the generate button to produce over 200 AI-powered photos, each tailored to the chosen styles.

Why It Matters: Lemon8 aligns itself with the broader social media landscape by incorporating generative AI features and tools for creators.

The newly introduced Photo Studio draws parallels with popular AI photo generator apps like LensaAI, which have recently experienced widespread popularity. Through Photo Studio, Lemon8 aims to empower its creator community by providing them with a tool to harness the capabilities of AI in generating personalized photos that can be shared with their followers.

Photo Studio is significant as Lemon9 encounters challenges in gaining traction since its initial launch, where influencers played a pivotal role in promoting the app in the US. While Lemon8 may not emerge as the anticipated competitor to Instagram, it serves as a platform for ByteDance to attract creators who want to create in a photo-first landscape, as opposed to TikTok’s predominantly video-focused environment.
