Instagram Stories may be getting a new addition soon.

A few days ago, reverse code engineer Jane Manchun Wong discovered a new Maps sticker. According to the screenshot she shared via Twitter, users will be able to add a sticker to their Story that displays their location on a map.

The addition of a Maps sticker would likely be welcomed especially those who share travel-related content. The new sticker would give users an easy way to further dress up their Stories content, by sharing where they are or what they are up to. With Location stickers already at users’ disposal and quite commonly used, Maps stickers would likely follow a similar path. As someone who shares the places their visiting on Instagram, whether that be local or across the country, I can see myself this type of sticker, if it ends up officially launching.

In other Instagram news, the Facebook-owned platform recently rolled out new creative options for its popular Boomerang feature.
