Creator Marketing Platform Breakr Launches BreakrPay™ to Help Creators Get Paid in Real Time and Announces New Partnership with Live Nation Urban

Breakr

Creator marketing platform Breakr announced BreakrPay™, a new instant payment solution. With BreakrPay™, brands, labels, and agencies can fund creator campaigns instantly, ensuring creators get paid in real time.

The solution is part of Breakr’s new partnership with Live Nation Urban, allowing its partners to seamlessly collaborate with creative agencies, manage campaigns, track real-time analytics, and ensure instant payments all within a single ecosystem. The partnership is backed by Black Lily Capital Fund, a new venture fund from Live Nation and Live Nation Urban focused on investing in early-stage companies with Black founders in music and adjacent industries.

Breakr originally focused on helping artists break into the mainstream through creator partnerships on TikTok and Instagram but has been expanding to serve a broader range of clients across the creator economy.

Why It Matters: Despite creators being a driving force behind today’s marketing, the systems built to support them remain outdated, and one of the biggest issues is payments.

Creators often have to deliver quickly to brand and agency partners, meeting tight deadlines. But after holding up their end of the deal, they’re often left waiting months to get paid. Net 30, 60, and even 90-day payment terms have unfortunately become the norm in the creator economy. As more people turn to full-time content creation or even as a side hustle, these timelines aren’t equitable, especially for those relying on brand partnerships to make a living.

Beyond helping creators directly, BreakrPay™ also benefits brands and agencies that want to pay creators right away but are held up by operational and logistical barriers. Hopefully, more creator economy companies follow suit and roll out creator-friendly payment solutions because in most cases, they’ll be just as beneficial for brands and agencies too.
