Decentralized platform Bluesky added a Video tab on user profiles. The tab showcases videos posted by users, including original uploads and shared content from other platforms. Currently, Bluesky allows videos up to 60 seconds in length.

Why It Matters: Since TikTok went dark, Bluesky has been moving fast to support more video content. This comes as it just hit over 30 million users and continues to see growth. With more recent investments in video, as well as a number of new apps being built off the AT Protocol, the technology behind Bluesky, video looks to be a major area of investment for the platform’s growth.
