Google is offering a free four month subscription to new Google Play subscribers

In a effort to compete with the leaders in music streaming, Spotify and Apple Music, Google is offering new subscribers a free four month subscription to it's Google Play service. Typically, Google offers a 90-day free trial but this limited time offer expands the trial by a month.

With a premium Google Play subscription, users have access to over 35 million songs, can save up to 50,000 songs to a personal library, listen without advertisements, and download music for offline listening.

In addition, users have access to YouTube Red, YouTube's premium service that features original series and is advertisement free.

There isn't any word on how long this deal will last so if it sounds like something you're interested in, jump on it as soon as possible.

I have yet to try Google Play so I don't know how it stacks up to the other services out there, but from just glancing over their site, it has a clear interface and looks easy to navigate.

If you're looking for a budget friendly service or just want to check out Google Play, you can do so here
