Young Dolph releases the introspective "While U Here" ahead of 'Thinking Out Loud' album
Weeks after getting shot in Hollywood, California, Young Dolph gets back to the music. Following his release from the hospital, the Memphis rising star announced he would be releasing a new album on October 20th titled Thinking Out Loud.
Today, he gives a dose of the upcoming project in the form of "While U Here." Produced by frequent collaborator Drumma Boy, he delivers introspective lyrics, reminding listeners not to take life for granted. He encourages everyone to let their loved ones know how they feel while they're still living. On the hook, he raps:
βTell your momma you love her while she here/ Tell your pops that you love him while he here/ Tell your homeboys that you love βem while they here/ One day you here the next you gone, for real" on the hook. "
The thundering production proves to be the perfect backing for Dolph to express his inner thoughts. As a result, "While U Here" is an appropriate cut to set the mood for the forthcoming album. There is no word whether the rest of the album will have a similar sound but with the recent events that have happened in Dolph's life, it would make sense for him to have a lot of venting to do.
Thinking Out Loud will feature 10 tracks with contributions coming from Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, D.R.A.M., Zaytoven, Mike Will Made It, Cassius Jay, Honorable C.N.O.T.E., and more.
