Twitch Announces It's Adding Stories Along With a Discovery Feed
Twitch is adding the Stories content format to its platform, following Telegram's announcement of its own Stories format. Streamers can create Stories featuring photos, videos, polls, and more. They can choose to share Stories with all of their followers or just subscribers, allowing them to reach 100% of their audience. Stories expire automatically after 24 hours but can be saved for later use.
With Stories, streamers have a new way to connect and engage with viewers, even outside of live streaming. They can also use Subscriber-Only Stories to offer exclusive content to their most loyal fans, making subscriptions more appealing.
Twitch has also announced other updates, such as the ability for streamers to export clips directly to TikTok using the Clip Editor, a new Discovery Feed that provides personalized, scrollable feeds of clips for viewers to find new streamers, and Streaming Together, which lets streamers simultaneously stream from their own channels while using Guest Star.
