In a world saturated with affiliate programs, finding the right one can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. Most are one-sided, offering minimal value to partners. However, in this ever-evolving landscape, Freshworks stands out.

Freshworks has had an affiliate program since 2018 and is relaunching its affiliate program based on learnings over the years. This will allow Freshworks to provide the best possible experience for its partners to earn by promoting its cutting-edge SaaS products spanning business, marketing, sales, customer service, and more.

Here’s what’s new with the revamped program:

  • Freshworks is moving away from its 15% commissions and instead starting partners off with 20% recurring commissions for the first year.

  • Power Affiliates, those who drive over 100 sign-ups, will be bumped up to a 25% recurring commission for the first year but will also unlock performance bonuses for hitting milestones.

  • Champion Affiliates, those who bring in over 200 sign-ups, will receive customized commissions tailored to match their performance.

  • There are also milestone bonuses and a $50 activation bonus when starting out

The updated commission model and bonus earnings aren’t the only notable changes. Freshworks is also taking more of a partnership approach with affiliates, providing dedicated support and resources to help them earn.

This is something that is often missing and something that I’m passionate about when it comes to affiliate programs. Brands and companies with affiliate programs should empower their partners and support them in a manner similar to how sales enablement specialists support their sales teams.

Currently, there are over 20,000 partners in the program, 60,000-plus customers, and over $1.5 million paid in commissions, with one of its top partners raking in over $12,000 in commissions last year.
